This workshop is designed to provide a glimpse into the rich Hungarian folklore. The teachers of the Zsigmond Király Supplementary School provide a wide variety of activities for every age group.

The children can choose from the following activities: Hungarian folk custom colouring; “körmönfonás”- a unique way of complex breading; traditional folk poppet creation (Hungarian ancestors used to played with these dolls); and finally the “csuhé” – dried cob leaf art. From this dried cob leaf they create dish mats, glass holders, handbags, toys and other useful equipment.
