Dragoș Andrei Ionel, born in Iași, Romania is a professional bass-baritone graduating with Master of Arts in Opera Performance degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tuition of Donald Maxwell and Angela Livingstone.
Dragoș holds a Bachelor Degree in Music from the University of Aberdeen and a Master of Arts in Vocal Performace at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
His operatic repertoire include the roles of Leporello (Don Giovanni – W.A. Mozart), Antonio (Le Nozze di Figaro – W.A.Mozart), Papageno (Die Zauberflote – W.A.Mozart), Alidoro (La Cenerentola – G.Rossini), Zaretsky and The Captain (Eugene Onegin – P.I. Tchaikovsky), Lapak (Cunning Little Vixen – L.Janacek), Betto di Signa (Gianni Schichi – G.Puccini), Harry Easter and Frank Maurrant (Street Scene – K.
