‘KaskoSan Roma Charity established the KaskoSan Dance Group in February 2023. The group brings together talented Roma dancers from Bolton, Preston, Oldham, Horwich, and Blackburn. Through the support of one of their trustees, KaskoSan secured rehearsal space at the Bolton Socialist Club.
The dancers are coached by Michael and Vicky, a traditional Roma couple with over 15 years of international performance experience. Under their guidance, the group has performed at major cultural events across the UK, including the Unity Festival in Horwich, Migration Yorkshire Festival in Sheffield, Hope University in Liverpool, Ando Glaso Roma Fest in Glasgow, and Theatre in the Mill in Bradford.
Videos of the KaskoSan Dance Group, filmed and produced by Maria Palmai at KaskoSan, have reached a global audience with over 25 million views in the past two years.’
