Casian Cimpan is a pianist and piano teacher based in Manchester, United Kingdom. At the age of 7 he began his musical education at the Sabin Dragoi College of Arts in his hometown Arad, Romania and in 2011 he was admitted at the Royal Northern College of Music where he graduated from in 2015.
During this period he performed across the UK and Europe both as a soloist and as part of various ensembles. Though classically trained, Casian explored a variety of different music genres such as Jazz, Fusion, Pop, etc. and had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous bands.
Beside performing Casian also displayed great interest in composition and arranging. During his years at the Royal Northern College of Music he had the opportunity to take part in a variety of workshops and masterclasses and learn from some of the best tutors.
