The Guzsalyás band was founded two years ago in Warrington. The members consist of Rob Wakefield, Balazs Miklos, and Istvan Adam. Rob found Hungarian folk music through the Muzsikas band Istvan through classical music, and Balazs through his middle school teachers. Their repertoire mostly consists of tunes from the Gyimes and Moldavia regions, but they are recently started practicing to folk music from Transylvania, and and the Dunantul region of Hungary.
