Anikó Tóth

Anikó started singing Hungarian folk music as a child and expanded into Classical (Opera), Jazz, Musicals, Contemporary Classical and Extended Vocal Technique, recently completing her PhD in Music.
Trained in Los Angeles, at Hungary’s Franz Liszt Music Academy and in the UK, Anikó has performed in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (Los Angeles), the Millennium Theatre (Budapest), and The Royal Albert Hall (London), as well as Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and The Sage in Gateshead, with a recent performance of original work in the Onassis Cultural Centre in Athens, Greece. Performing with a variety of collaborators, recently including The Royal Shakespeare Company and Slunglow Theatre, as well as Meredith Monk and Manchester’s Hallé Choir, she has been broadcast on BBC Four, BBC Radio 3 & 4, PBS (USA), and Bartók Rádió (Hungary).
