The Rubber Duck Orchestra with its line up of 7 brassy, stomping, dancing musicians
weave Balkan, Roma, Klezmer and Swing into an unabashed frenetic vibe! Resounding with admiration for Eastern European styles and vitality The Rubber Duck Orchestra create music which runs riot between Ukrainian melodies, contemporary Serbian grooves and New Orleans Jazz with haunting echoes of Armenian and Roma Folk melodies.
Their name dates back to their birth on a Barge on a Mancunian Canal fifteen years ago and since then they have entertained crowds throughout the UK with recent performances including The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, WOMAD UK, Boomtown Fair Festival, Kendal Calling, Bristol’s The Invisible Circus, and Birmingham’s Hot Club de Swing.
