ZAKVAS is a reformed from previously known From East to East band into new fashion with original songs and music inspired by Eastern Europe and the Balkans, combining gypsy, Klezmer, Turkish, Polish, and Russian influences. This 5-piece band is based in Leeds and plays a blend of traditional and original dance tunes as well as slower melodic pieces. Their repertoire includes both vocal and instrumental pieces, bringing together violin, electric or classical guitar, bass guitar, and drums featuring the beautiful voice of lead vocalists Kasia who will take the audience on a mesmerizing journey through the East.
